Go to new songs - what is anyone playing?

There inst a lot of good new dance material coming out - much of the NZ ,UK charts & others are dominated with ambient chilled stuff that sits better in a background session.

What is anyone else playing that works for in generating the dancefloor right now?

Here are some reasonably current tracks that are dancefloor oriented working for me, some of these are already over a year old so looking for some more to add:

Uptown funk [dj beats mix] – Mark Ronson ft Bruno Mars
Shake it off – Taylor Swift
Freaks [clean edit] – Timmy Trumpet ft Savage
Dear Future Husband – Meghan Trainor
Swing [joe fletcher mix] - Savage
Sugar [beats mix] – Maroon 5
Want to Want me - Jason Derulo [dj beats mix]
    Lean On – Major Lazer
Cheerleader [felix jahyn mix] – OMI
Shut up & dance [EZ Mix] – Walk the Moon
    Peanut Butter Jelly – Galaxis
Five more hours [dj beats] – Chris Brown & Deorro
I Can’t feel my Face [remix] – Weeknd
Watch me whip [nae nae]remix – Silento
How deep is your love [dj beats] – Calvin Harris [ft Ellie Goulding]
    Black magic – Little Mix
Cheerleader [Felix Jaehn mix] – OMI
Try me - Jason Derulo ft J Lo

    Andy,

Curious to know why you have Savage's "Swing" on the list since this track is 10 years old and your topic says "new songs"?

Its the Joe Fletcher mix which came out 2014 on a monthly radio series i subscribed too. It revamped the old song completely and works well for me.

What new stuff are you playing to fill the dancefloor?

Yes - unfortunately i have also had a couple of requests for his new stuff which i do carry but most of it sounds quite ambient. What mix and song works well for you ?

With the music out today our youth are strongly getting educated about the party life of: sex, drugs and killing. Sad world for our youth.

Except for the killing part .. sex and drugs has been the bottom line of MOST rock since the 50s.

It's more intense nowadays. The imagination and attire by the signers is more intense too. Let's bring back Smooth Jazz to play it safer
