    moving TVs

    Hi all .
I have not been doing a lot of karaoke in the last few years and before I was using my 19 inch flat screen Tv . And just taking a 32" out some times . Last year I got a TV stand for the 32" for a few shows and now I would rather use the 32 . But since I did not use it often all I am using is the box it came in . That was ok when it went out a time or two a year but if I change over to using it all the time that is not much protection .

So what is a good way to move it ?

    I know I can use a bag ( https://www.americanmusical.com/Item...waAgcAEALw_wcB )

But I am really wanting something with a little more protection however I do not have room for something like this

So what are some more options ?

    Thanks

    David

The bag is probably fine .. unless you manhandle the gear. The ATA cases are designed for freight moving, so are a bit overkill for a van or SUV. Honestly, I just threw a moving blanket over my 32" when I brought it for karaoke.

So far the box has worked . I was just wondering it there was something a little tougher just in case you get that load shift or something like that

Yea .. you can get one of the Tuff Boxes with 1/4" sides ... https://www.roadcasesusa.com/monitor...29-32-screens/

or the lightweight 1/4" standard boxes .. https://www.roadcasesusa.com/32-37-p...uty-ata-cases/

I carry a 60" monitor and had a custom bag made. Water proof canvas-like fabric on the outside, soft very thick felt inside. Zipppers along each side, meet in the top middle. So far about 6 - 7 years in service with zero mishaps although the exterior has taken a beating.

If you want to have a soft bag made to your specs, contact a local boat or RV dealer that repairs canvas, sails, boat covers, and / or upholstery. They can whoop you up something in no time.

If the box it come with made it from China, it should make it to events in your area too, unless the box in now torn up. That may be all you still need, the original box and packing.

    Or, get some bubble wrap.

I know this is bad, but I used to keep mine wrapped in a towel or two to keep the screen from getting damaged. Now I don't even do karaoke anymore, so that's no longer an issue.

I ordered a bag , I found one with a TV stand for the flat screen ( I have one but I am upgrading the old TV to a new one soon so I will need two stands ) and a bag for the TV stand all for $175 Thanks for the advice . I would really like to get a nicer case but the bag will work .
